Come As You Are — Finding a Real, Bible‑Believing Church

🏠 Come As You Are — Finding a Real, Bible‑Believing Church

Some folks think church is a fashion show. Some think it’s a club for the polished, the perfect, and the put‑together. But if I see you walk into church drunk, high, dirty, strung out, or dressed funny—I’m not judging you. I’m thanking God you showed up.

Jesus wants you there.
I want you there.
Your needs matter. Your pain matters. Your soul matters.

A real church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints.

If a church won’t accept you as you are, Jesus ain’t in that building.
If they preach love but skip over hell, they’re skipping half the truth.
If it’s all sports talk and politics, but no Scripture, no prayer, no lifting each other’s burdens—then it’s just a social club with a steeple.

A true Bible‑believing church ought to be a place where:

- The broken get bandaged
- The lost get found
- The sinner gets grace
- And the saints get reminded they’re still human

Jesus didn’t come to host a meet‑and‑greet. He came to save souls.
So if He ain’t the center of the gathering, it ain’t a church—it’s just a building.

📖 Scripture (NRJ‑style flavor)

- “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28
- “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” —Luke 5:32
- “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” —Galatians 6:2
- “They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” —Mark 7:6

3. What to Look For in a Bible‑Believing Church

Use this checklist:

- Do they preach the whole counsel of God—grace and truth?
- Do they open the Bible every service?
- Do they pray together?
- Do they welcome the broken, the hurting, and the imperfect?
- Do they talk more about Jesus than politics?
- Do they teach repentance, salvation, and discipleship?
- Do they lift each other’s burdens?

If the answer is “yes,” you’re in the right place.
If the answer is “no,” keep riding.

🏜️ Closing Word

Come as you are.
Come with your mess.
Come with your questions.
Come with your pain.

Jesus wants you in His house—and so do I.

A church that won’t welcome you ain’t following Him.
A church that won’t preach truth ain’t serving Him.
A church that won’t pray with you ain’t walking with Him.

Find a place where Jesus is the center, Scripture is the foundation, and people are loved back to life.
