The Parable of the Two Builders

In a bustling town, two men set out to build their dreams. Jake, thoughtful and patient, laid his foundation deep—calculating costs, studying the market, and preparing for hardships. Adam, eager and impulsive, rushed to open his shop quickly, convinced that speed meant success.

At first, Adam thrived. His store gleamed with bright signs and flashy sales, drawing crowds. Meanwhile, Jake built steadily, brick by brick, his shop quieter but strong.

Then came the storm—an economic downturn that shook the town. Adam’s store, built on hype and debt, collapsed under the pressure. Jake’s store, grounded in wisdom, weathered the storm, standing firm when everything else fell.

Seeing this, Adam realized his mistake. When he rebuilt, he followed Jake’s path—laying a solid foundation, focusing on **strength over speed**, and ensuring that when the next storm came, he’d still be standing.
